The brochure describes the Exodus Missionary Outreach Church providing contact information and its church mission. The collection provides an overview of his Hickory, North Carolina-based church, Exodus Missionary Outreach Church, as well as his participation in the 2007 CNN-You Tube Democratic Presidential debate. This collection also provides an alternative view of Black Appalachian churches as homophobic.

Reverend Reggie Longcrier founded the Hickory, North Carolina-based church, Exodus Missionary Outreach Church in 1997. It is a non-denominational multi-ethnic church. He is also the executive director of Exodus Homes, a faith-based agency, offering transitional and permanent supportive housing for homeless recovering addicts, alcoholics, and formerly incarcerated people.
